The Department of Tourism (DOT) Central Visayas – Office of Tourism Regulation Division staged its Tourism Appreciation Night at the Vivace Events Center, Cebu Ocean Park, on November 28, 2023 to recognize the invaluable contributions of tourism businesses and stakeholders in the region.
This year’s theme, “Celebrating 50 Years of Philippine Tourism,” underscored the industry’s outstanding achievements and the unwavering commitment of those who have been instrumental in its growth. The event served as a platform to recognize and commend tourism stakeholders for their steadfast dedication to upholding sustainable and responsible tourism practices, adhering to DOT accreditation standards, promoting accessible and barrier-free tourism, actively participating in DOT’s core programs, and supporting the “Love the Philippines” tourism campaign.
