With their vibrant color and refreshing flavor, the new drinks became more than just a product launch. They also served as a symbol of the brand’s participation in a month-long campaign that puts greater attention on breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.

The Lemon Co. CEO Terence Padrique led the launch of the Pink Lemon Drink, joined by ICanServe Foundation, Inc. Cebu Public Information Officer Ron R. Bernabe and the women behind the various activities and events lined up for Pink October.

Padrique said he never imagined a product launch like this. The push came from The Lemon Co.’s growth and partnership team, which insisted on doing it “the right way” — with reputable partners.

“Today we are not simply launching a new drink. We are launching a simple hope. Our dragon fruit lemonade, the pink drink, may look simple. It is bright, beautiful, and refreshing. But behind this color is a message that is much bigger than the drink itself. It is a message of hope, a message of courage,” Padrique said.

“Now we’re offering this dragon fruit lemonade. Hopefully people embrace it because dragon fruit is familiar, it’s healthy, and it’s relevant to the cause we’re trying to share,” he added.

“At The Lemon Co., we believe that when you have the opportunity to do something good, you should do it — not because you have to, but because you can.”

The launch ended with a call to action—buy the pink drink, talk about screening, and support women in need.

“May this pink drink remind us that small acts, when we do them together, can create a tremendous impact. Here’s to hope. Here’s to courage,” Padrique concluded.
